Ken runs a great business I’m very happy with how they diagnosed my 08 gmc Sierra 2500hd I came in with a code for an egr sensor after replacing a couple myself I didn’t want to do it anymore so I brought it in to them and they diagnosed it right away and minimizing other parts I could of spent big money on to replace like the egr itself they went out of there way to save me money and you can tell by talking to Ken and Henry they run an honest shop this is the best shop I’ve ever been to and I highly recommend to anyone who has a diesel to visit.

Im new to diesels but i am not new to mechanic shops and this one is over rated. Didn’t clean the air filter as promised and did not check the glow plugs like promised. I asked Henry to check the glow plugs and he assured me he would, just as he did with the air filter and the rest of the truck, but not of that was done. I was told by Henry the glow plugs and everything else looked fine, but I plugged a professional reader in and read the resistance of the glow plugs myself and they all read well over 1ohm. And the new one read .5 - So now I ask myself what was really done? I’m very disappointed and do not feel like my money was well spent. On top of it I had to pay $500 for a bi directional reader to run a glow plug learn procedure.

This is the most thorough shop we've ever taken our truck to. My husband puts a lot of miles on his truck and this shop goes above and beyond when he has to take it in for repairs. We had a mysterious hiccup that kept happening and it took a while to find but they did an amazing job repairing it. Imler won't compromise on standards and won't put in cheap Chinese knock offs. They probably even lost money on one of our repairs, but they really know what they're doing. We wished we had gone to the shop even earlier than we did. All the people there are great and the customer service is amazing.

My family and I have been using this shop since the 90s. Any issues with our deisel pickups we always bring it to them. They are honest and very thorough with all the work they do. I will say they are definitely not the cheapest shop around, but when it comes to our company trucks I definitely don't want the cheap shops doing any work on our company trucks just so a few weeks later I'm back at there shop trying to fix the same problem again. With Ken Imler u can count on them to get it done right the first time around.

Took my 98.5 Dodge in for an oil change and was pleasantly surprised. It was my first time there and Ken and the staff were great. They took the time, despite being really busy, to explain some things to me that the last shop (nameless place in Folsom) didn't even seem to notice even though I paid for an inspection. They went way above and beyond and really took care of me and my truck. I will definitely be going back and recommend this shop for all diesel truck owners.
